<h1>Forty Thieves</h1> <p> Forty Thieves type. 2 decks. No redeal. <h3>Object</h3> <p> Move all cards to the foundations. <h3>Rules</h3> <p> Forty cards are dealt to 10 piles. These piles are built down in suit. Only the top card of a pile is available for playing, and spaces can be filled by any card. <p> Cards from the talon are turned over to the waste pile, one at a time. You can move the leftmost card to the playing piles or the foundations. There is no redeal. <h3>History</h3> <p> This is a classic solitaire game that probably dates back to the nineteenth century. It is known by many names, such as <i>Napoleon at St.Helena</i>, <i>Big Forty</i> and <i>Le Cadran</i>.
